Language and literacy skills to interpret technical language and pronounce complex and specific words correctly
Numeracy skills to do foundational mathematical calculations and interpret sequential numerical information when dealing with fees and processing medical accounts
A computer with internet access
Some experience with computer software like the Microsoft Office suite
Pre-existing technology skills to access and navigate the internet and be able to create, open and save electronic files
Confidence to work independently

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate III in Business (Medical Administration) qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 13 units of competency, including 6 core and 7 speciality units.
Please note, not all specialty units are offered at every TAFE NSW location. It is highly recommended that you check with your preferred campus for information about the specialty units offered at that location.
